Mediterranea Biotechnologies at the 50th Dairy Industry Conference in Hyderabad, India. March 4th to 6th, 2024 – HITEX Exhibition Center
Mediterranea Biotecnologie is currently present with its distributor Duke Thomson’s at the 50th Dairy Industry Conference in Hyderabad, India.
The exhibition is organized by the IDA l'Indian Dairy Association, which has been representing the Indian dairy industry since 1948. The IDA supports cooperatives, national and multinational companies, institutions, organizations, research and training institutes, both public and private. In close collaboration with its members, it works to support and develop the Indian dairy industry.
The 50th edition of Dairy Industry Conference this year introduces the theme "Indian Dairying: Innovation & Entrepreneurship", addressing the most current topics related to innovation in the development of dairy businesses. The technical sessions supporting the event have been planned to facilitate and encourage young entrepreneurs in the sector to improve their activities in response to the increasing demand for milk and dairy products. At the Dairy Industry Conference stands, attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with Indian and international exhibitors who, through their innovative solutions, are ready to provide concrete support to all stages of the value chain process of the Indian dairy sector.
During these days, Mediterranea Biotecnologie will be available with its technical and commercial staff at the Duke Thomson’s booth, ready to address all innovation needs in the field of starter cultures, probiotics, and dietary supplements. These products are developed in Italy by Scienzanova the innovative start-up of Mediterranea Biotecnologie, for the Rete di Sviluppo Biotec, a network that also includes Mediterranea Biotecnologie and Igea.
In particular, Mediterranea Biotecnologie is making the SHIELD range available in the Indian market, a selected formulation of bacterial strains studied and tested for bioprotection, offering the possibility to eliminate the use of preservatives in processing stages, with the aim of obtaining dairy products that adhere to clean label logic. The SHIELD range offers three different formulations based on strains belonging to the species of Lactobacillus spp., Lactiplantibacillus spp., and Lacticaseibacillus spp. Each formulation guarantees its effectiveness based on the different pH levels reached during processing in order to offer a differentiated action spectrum of action based on them. This characteristic allows the SHIELD range to be employed with great effectiveness in a wide range of dairy processes.
These cultures are "GLUTEN and GMO FREE" and certified Kosher and Halal.
